Managing Your Classes

Your dashboard provides an overview of all the classes you are assigned to. Click on a class to view its details, student roster, and assignments.

  • Class Roster: View all students enrolled in your class.
  • Assignments & Grades: Create new assignments, enter grades, and manage grade calculations.
  • Attendance: Mark student attendance for each class session.

Grade Entry & Calculation

Acadex makes grade entry simple and efficient. You can enter grades directly into the system, and it will automatically calculate student averages based on the defined grading scale.

  • Entering Grades: Navigate to an assignment within a class and enter scores for each student.
  • Weighting Categories: If your school uses weighted grading, you can set up grade categories (e.g., Homework, Quizzes, Exams) and assign weights.
  • Report Cards: Generate comprehensive report cards for your students, which can be shared with parents.

Communicating with Students & Parents

Maintain effective communication with students and their parents through the Acadex platform.

  • Announcements: Post announcements for your class that will be visible to students and parents.
  • Messaging: Send private messages to individual students or parents.
